Oracle inducts their 5th annual honorary member, Dr. Meeta Kumar

May 8, 2015 | By |

The classes of 2015 and 2016 could not be more excited to induct our fifth annual honorary member, Dr. Meeta Kumar. Currently serving as Associate Director/Director of Outreach and Prevention Services at CAPS (Counseling & Psychological Services), Dr. Kumar has been a very strong ally for the Asian and Asian American communities, especially regarding the recent discussions over mental health on Penn’s campus. She has also served as interim director for PAACH and has instructed different offerings for the Asian American Studies Program, forming close relationships with many Asian and Asian American students throughout the student body.

The welcome reception for Dr. Meeta Kumar occurred on May 8th, 2015; we were grateful to be joined by two other Oracle honorary members, Kusum from PAACH and Dr. Fariha Khan.

This year, they presented for the second recipient for the A. Cipactli, Oracle, Carriage & Onyx Senior Societies host food drive for annual COCO Charity Holiday Mixer

December 9, 2014 | By |

Each fall, COCO (Cipactli, Oracle, Carriage, Onyx) Senior Societies host a holiday mixer for all to get together and meet other members of the societies. This year, the mixer involved a food drive donation for charity. After the holiday mixer, Oracle continued the festivities with their own Holiday Party as their end of the semester social event. Wearing ugly holiday sweaters was encouraged!
